Privacy Policy

Pioov ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://pioov.com (the "Site"), how we use and protect that information, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please do not use the Site.

Who We Are

Pioov is an independent, web-based Instagram Story and Post Viewer & Profile Explorer and guide publisher. For any privacy question or request, you can reach us at [email protected].

Information We Collect

Information You Give Us Voluntarily

When you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive the information you choose to send: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information only to read, understand, and reply to your message. Correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months and then deleted.

Information Collected Automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data when you request a page. This can include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages you visit, and the date and time of each request. Hosting providers keep such logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, typically for a short retention window such as 30 to 90 days. This data is not used by us to build advertising profiles.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require an account, so we never collect usernames or passwords for Pioov. The username search feature runs entirely in your browser: the text you type is not transmitted to Pioov's servers or stored by us. Most importantly, we never ask for your Instagram password or any other social-media credentials, on any page of this Site. If any website claiming to be Pioov asks for such credentials, it is not us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site works without cookies for its core functionality. If we enable analytics or advertising in the future, those third-party services may set cookies or similar identifiers. For example, advertising partners such as Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to a website; you can read how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partners and manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com or via https://www.aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the Site will remain usable.

How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to: respond to your messages; keep the Site secure and prevent abuse; understand aggregate traffic patterns so we can improve our guides; and comply with applicable law. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except for service providers strictly necessary to operate the Site (such as hosting and email delivery) or when required by law.

Where the GDPR applies, we process correspondence data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you; technical log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure Site; and any optional analytics or advertising data, where enabled, on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via your browser or cookie settings.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you; object to or restrict processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent. California residents have rights to know and request deletion of personal information; we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email [email protected] with a description of your request. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: correspondence for up to 24 months, and server log data only for the retention window applied by our hosting provider. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted.

Data Security

The Site is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Data Transfers

Our hosting and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Third-Party Websites

The Site links to third-party websites, including Instagram. This policy does not apply to those sites; once you leave Pioov, the destination's own privacy practices govern your visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date below shows the current version, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
